Monday 21st December COVID - Tier 4 Announcement - Europe/N.I
Details are still emerging but with the announcement of tier 4 this some ports and borders have been closed. We are following this closely and for the time being removed all European shipping services until there are clear guidelines available. Parcel Force have advised us to hold all EU and N.I orders for now. Royal Mail is very limited on the the information available.

15.12 20 Last Posting Dates Christmas & New Year
Please see updated shipping times, any orders placed over the Christmas and new year period will be processed as normal with the exception of public festive bank holidays.
Royal Mail: Last posting date with Royal mail will be Wednesday 23nd December. Service will resume 29th 30th & 31st December - closed 1st - 3rd then back to normal from Monday January 4th
Parcel Force: Last posting date with Parcel Force will be Tuesday 22nd December. Service will resume 29th 30th & 31st December - closed 1st - 3rd then back to normal from Monday January 4th
Parcel Force: Ireland delivery:Due to the exceptionally large volumes of parcels that our delivery partners in Ireland are processing, they have advised that any parcels sent after Monday 14th December may not be delivered before Christmas.
Northern Ireland delivery over New Year: Please note there will be no Saturday delivery on the 2nd January 2021, therefore any parcels sent to Northern Ireland by express48 or express24 on Wednesday 30th or Thursday 31st December will not arrive until Monday 4th January.
11.12.20 - Severe delays are now being seen with 2nd class Royal Mail service and have decided to suspend this postage option until the new year.
we have seen delays of upto 3 weeks. Parcels ARE arriving please be mindful this is out of our control and to expect delays with all Royal Mail Services.
Our Processing times are as normal either same day or next working day.

ONLINE SHOPPING: We are operating within our usual 1-2 days processing times.
Online ordering is uneffected for the UK by the the latest government announcement of a national lockdown until 4.12.20. Please continue to order as usual but we do have some updates with regards to shipment times and delays with European deliveries.
SHOPPING LOCALLY AT THE STUDIO: We will not be open to the public from the 5th November until 4th December as per government lockdown restrictions. Click and collect service is still in operation to use this please order online and select our click and collect option on shipping page. There are instructions to follow to arrange your collection from our studio in Burton Upon Trent. We are here to offer support over the phone, messenger WhatsApp or email and DMS if you need any advice.
POTENTIAL DELIVERY DELAYS : We have already started seeing delays with couriers in the UK & Europe and expect this may continue. As it did 1st lockdown.
Royal Mail at the moment is still operating within its time frames but there are some delays now showing especially for areas of high cases and restrictions We do anticipate this will not be the case going into November as online shopping increases even more with lockdown and of course Christmas.
Please note delays are to be expected with all postal services, we will consider suspending our 2nd class postage service if it’s clear there are long delays. Last time we seen upto 20 days delay with 2nd class and upto 10 days delay with 1st class. We will keep a close eye on this as we get the information from Royal Mail.
We encourage you to make use of our free shipping option when you spend over £65. Please use code FREESHIP65 in most cases we use Parcel Force for such orders. And experienced minor delays 1st lockdown with the exception to Europe, however all guarantees in place with Parcel Force are now suspended as we can no longer guarantee any of our delivery times.

PRODUCT SUPPLIES: As the world sees an uplift in Covid outbreaks, we don’t yet know if this will have another impact on our suppliers, raw materials and distributors. Please please be mindful of this if you are a professional furniture painting business. And plan your paint supply requirements to see you through the next 2-3 months as a minimum.
I don’t want to be all doom and gloom but it’s better to be prepared!
