Use Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax to seal and protect furniture and walls painted with Chalk Paint™ decorative paint. Chalk Paint™ Wax emphasises depth of colour and gives a beautiful mellow finish, or can be buffed to a high sheen.

Annie Sloan Clear Wax is suitable for use on bare wood as well adding depth to painted furniture and surfaces.

After painting, seal indoor furniture with a thin coat of Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax with a Chalk Paint™ Wax Brush
Work in small areas at a time, wiping off any excess with a clean cloth
Wipe back any excess with Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax, making sure every part of your piece has been waxed at least once.
For a distressed look, sand back to reveal a little of the wood or paint underneath before applying a second coat of Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax.
Wait until the first coat of Chalk Paint™ Wax is touch dry (which will take around an hour depending on environmental factors and how thickly the first coat was applied) before applying a second coat if required.
After care: wipe clean with a damp cloth. For tough marks, use a spray cleaner and rewax where necessary.

Chalk Paint™ Wax is not suitable for outdoor use. Use Chalk Paint™ Lacquer outdoors.
